Can’t write a decent recommendation? Have the internet do it for you!

I was reading a rather interesting blog rant about how LinkedIn is actually what a police state would look like if it were a social media site.

The author was speaking about how bland, generic, basically plastic most of the so-called recommendations on the site are.

He further went on to say that most sound like they were written by a computer – and included a link to Endorser.org.  This is a site where all you have to do is enter the person’s name, company, gender and job position.

Here are some of the “recommendations” I “created” using the site”

>>I had the privilege of working with Joe on a couple IT positions at the same company. Joe is a hardworking natural born leader. Customer focused, proactive, efficient and wise manager. Is able to manage tasks of entire team. Joe is probably one of the best experts to work with I have ever met in my life and one of the smartest colleagues I have ever worked with.

>>Jane Morroe was one of the most dedicated professionals through her work at Banana Bikes. Jane Morroe is an eager Lead scientist with huge knowledge. Knows how to work from a distance.

>>Dave was one of the most dedicated professionals through his work at Finkster’s. I can recommend Dave as a person with great expertise and deep skills of business solutions. Strong Crew Chief, has no problem to work hard when necessary. Works towards maximal customer satisfaction.

>>She was a fantastic person to work with. Gemma is not only a result driven and deadline oriented Designer but also an inspiring strategist. Gemma is a responsible, open minded and energetic professional. Intelligent and smart expert. Makes the impossible possible. Is able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Check it out – maybe you can use it to help write a resume!
